We were thrilled when it became legal, here, and just as thrilled for you, Ron, and so many others when it happened in Minnesota. We attend the wedding of two friends, who have been partners for 21 years, in late June. As far as the 39 remaining states John mentions in his comment go: the 'tipping point' is coming!Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05985968063880398033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450770064468403395.post-77667315564360686142013-05-18T05:48:23.415-07:002013-05-18T05:48:23.415-07:00This is totally awesome news. Who knew last fall when we defeated the attempt to enshrine the ban on gay marriage into the state constitution that we would get the law changed so soon after? I thought it was quite interesting that the Star Tribune editorial page writer Lori Sturdevant suggested that it was the attempt to pass that constitutional amendment that made the current law change possible, because it spurred the formation of United for All Families, which has turned out to be a very effective change agent. Poetic justice indeed!Sharon Parkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09093606285505207973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450770064468403395.post-36213230100675580382013-05-14T22:52:56.639-07:002013-05-14T22:52:56.639-07:00Congratulations!
