Not sure where to start on this one- Just back a few days from a
wonderful vacation. Saw incredible natural beauty and incredible art.
Seeing beautiful fall color in the mountains of North Carolina made
coming back home to bare trees here in northern Minnesota a hard one!
Getting to spend time exploring this area with my dear friend Thomas LaBadia
and our partners was so special- so many mixed emotions as this was
also a trip to see if this would be a place to relocate in a couple of
years- Always sad when something so special ends- so that was my frame
of mind when I did this spread this afternoon.
What a great spread Terry! Glad you had a great trip and are home safe.
ReplyDeleteI love to enlarge your work and just study the intricacies and layers, you are so talented. Wonderful ♥♥♥
Thank you so much Jacki! Means so much to me.
Deletejust had to pop over, the FB photo just doesn't do it justice! I imagine your trip was marvelous, did you get to Asheville? How I love it there!
ReplyDeleteCatrina- we stayed right in Asheville rented a house for a week together- then explored from there- I would love to live there- lots to think about thanks for your always kind words about my spreads.
DeleteThat is really beautiful Terry! Glad you had a good trip!
ReplyDeleteThanks Roberta- Thanks for taking the time to look and comment- Are you still liking your new location?
DeleteWow. So exciting and such a wonderful way to capture all those experiences and emotions. Our daughter, Nora, visited North Carolina -- the Asheville area, even -- a couple of years ago for a friend's wedding. It sounds beautiful and fabulous, I can understand the pull. Best wishes, whatever you do!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon- well a move isn't happening right away a couple of years maybe.
DeleteJust too cool! Love the background papers.
ReplyDeleteThanks John- as to the background- this is the journal I made with printed Gelli backgrounds so I have a background to start with.
