SERINDIPITY

ser·en·dip·i·ty

noun \ˌser-ən-ˈdi-pə-tē\
: luck that takes the form of finding valuable or pleasant things that are not looked for

This spread is titled: Found. I don't use these colors as a rule- I am taking a wonderful painting class from Julie Prichard and Chris Cozen called Layer Love 2.0https://julie-prichard.squarespace.com/layer-love/ I am learning a lot and experimenting with color so some extra paint from an assignment was used for this background. One technique was to use deli paper to lift extra paint off the canvas- so I then printed that onto this journal spread for the background.   This spread just evolved from that.
I think it is easy to get lost- to sometimes lose your way on your journey- then when you need it the most someone comes along and shines the light.

  3. Thanks for the reminder about Layer Love, i.e. whose class it is. I've emailed myself a link for the 2nd time now. Would love to take it, possibly in a month or two. For now, though, I just ordered two more painting books from Amazon!
