Lifeboat

This collage is totally digital.  I made this a couple of months ago when I was dealing with some things that were hard for me.  The idea came that friends can be like lifeboats to rescue us when we are down or going through hard times.  While this does remind me of the hard place I was at the time it is also a comfort to know I have dear friends in my life that really are my lifeboats.  The imagery for this whole collage is all from Marsha Salyer Jorgenson- she owns Tumble Fish Studios(well I did do  the Gelli print background that you can hardly see).

  3. Terry, I don't think I could ever NOT love something you made, but I especially love this. I relate so closely with the idea of lifeboats and it is a theme I've written a little about in the past - I had come up with a hypothetical list of who I would want in a lifeboat with me and how different friends come together, each with their own unique assets, that help us survive. Well, anyway, this piece is beautiful in concept and in execution. I remain a loyal fan of your beautiful work!
