I am participating in Seth Apter's blog project of having artist show what their studio tables really look like. Not the pretty cleaned up ones that people often show. http://thealteredpage.blogspot.com/
I reach a certain point where I just have totally put everything in order- then do it all again.
Looks right to me.
ReplyDeleteI have planned to join Serh's request but the 18th crept up on me.
Anyway, mine looks like yours dear Terry! Cool!
Thanks Jacki
Deletethose papers seem to multiply like bunnies, don't they? thanks for sharing your space!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how fast the fodder grows!
DeleteThe mess is all part of the fun. Like you I get to a point where I can't take it any more and then clean it all up but I usually am stuck creatively until its a mess again.
ReplyDeleteme too!
DeleteMy kinda table!
ReplyDeletethanks
DeleteGreat space! Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your 'studio table' today - seeing so many VERY REAL working table tops make me feel better about my own challenging work space =)
ReplyDeleteI love to see people's work spaces
DeleteI work the same way - until the mess has crept in on all sides and the floor is full - then I clean and begin again - thanks so much for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteNice looking in - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteyou are welcome
DeleteGreat table! xoxo
ReplyDeletethanks
DeleteThat's what I love to see, all those papers to sort through for collage. Do you find that the sorting process really makes the work that much more intuitive. I do. xox
ReplyDeleteI do think sorting helps.
DeleteI think it looks like it would be fun to spend some time in this work space... I read in your about me that you are a retired art teacher ... There are a few of us here in the blog hop... How nice is it to not have to think about kids who left the painty palettes in the bottom of the tubs... Mind you now it is us making the mess... A pleasure to find your blog
ReplyDeleteFantastic messes! How wonderful that you got to teach art!
ReplyDeleteLearning to be OK with messes makes all the difference Bill.
DeleteLOL! It's wonderfully enticing!...too bad cleaning is such a pain, but after a while I can never find anything.
ReplyDeleteyes I am always losing my scissors!
DeleteI can tell you are definitely a collage artist. All those papers laid out on the mat and table gave it away. Thanks for sharing your busy space.
ReplyDeleteyou are welcome

ReplyDeleteSo agree with: I reach a certain point where I just have totally put everything in order- then do it all again.
I love how you have a large work space. I usually start out with a clean surface too. All those sheets of paper look like loads of fun! Glad to meet you through Seth's blog hop.
